About Us
The Community Counseling Clinic is the ONLY fully free mental health clinic in Sonoma County. It also serves as a top-notch training site for graduate level counseling interns, under the supervision of Dr. Mark Doolittle.
The clinic has been on Sonoma State University’s campus since 1993 providing counseling to families, children, and individuals free of charge. The University unexpectedly closed the clinic and we need to re-locate off-campus by May.
The Good News! SOS Counseling Services has graciously agreed to adopt us under their 501(c)(3).
The Challenging News! We need to raise $50K to secure a new facility and guarantee that the clinic will thrive off campus.
Where Donation Money Will Go
100% of direct donations to "Save the CCC" will go towards continuing the CCC's mission of providing free mental health care in our community under the existing non-profit structure of SOS.
If we raise these funds we can continue serving our clients with no interruption in services, take people from the wait list in the fall, and hire new interns for the upcoming year.
We have been put in a situation of urgency where we need to raise funds in a short time frame. Direct donations are our best chance of getting enough money to move by May. We are SO THANKFUL to SOS and to all of you who generously donate to this very worthy cause!
